Pacific Coast Trip Day 2

We started the day in Sequim, WA and headed west 17 miles to Port Angeles, WA where we completed an 8 mile hike before stopping by the First Street Haven Cafe for lunch. Food was fabulous and fully justified its Road Trip Travel Guide recommendation.

From Port Angeles we drove to Forks, WA. Forks was the setting for the book and movie Twilight. They're working hard to monetize their resulting popularity to accelerate the transition from logging town to tourist destination. Spending the evening in Forks, we stayed at The Miller Tree Inn B&B. Miller Tree was featured as the Cullens' family home the book Twilight. Upon our arrival on a rare sunny day, we discovered Carlisle had taken the entire family on an extended vacation to the east coast.

All in all it was a fun day, despite a video snafu that occurred when I left the lens cap on during everything shot in Port Angeles. Does that remind anyone why I was banned from filming sporting events?
